Vintage German DBGM 66 Beer Stein with Pewter Lid and Tavern Scenes

Vintage German ceramic beer stein featuring richly detailed raised-relief tavern, village, castle, floral, and traditional figure scenes.

The stein is finished in warm amber-brown, black, and deep cobalt-blue glazes. The decorative banner reads:

“Ein volles Glas, des Gastes Spaß”

This translates approximately to:

“A full glass is the guest’s pleasure.”

The ornate hinged metal lid includes a decorative thumb lift. The inside of the lid is marked DBGM 66 with an additional small diamond-shaped mark. DBGM indicates a German registered design.

The exact ceramic manufacturer is not confirmed because no factory mark is visible on the base.

This piece shows normal vintage wear and natural patina to the metal lid. Please review all photographs carefully, including the close-up images of the lid, hinge, handle attachments, glaze, base, and design markings.
