Ours began around a kitchen table.
The Covered Cauldron is our family’s little online mercantile, tucked into the mountains of northern New Hampshire. It’s filled with estate treasures, clothing, collectibles, handmade creations, witchy curiosities, and wonderfully unexpected finds.
We’re simply here doing our thing—and figuring it out as we go.
My mother, Memère—pronounced Mem-May—and I are the captains of this peculiar little ship. She has always been my right hand, especially in the kitchen, where we work together almost without speaking. These days, she helps pack treasures, keeps me company while I work, and makes sure my Coke Zero stays cold and I remember to eat.
George is a huge part of everything we do. He finds value in things others overlook, repairs what can be saved, and lends a hand wherever we need him. He and I also share our own kitchen magic—and we’re rather famous in the family for our lasagna.
Katie helps us keep the ship sailing by taking on many of the physical jobs my body can no longer manage, including yard sales, dump runs, lifting, sorting, and going through mountains of estate treasures.
Mira keeps a little wonder in everything, while Harry, Pickles, Rainbow, and Kallie Mae supervise the entire operation.
We believe beautiful things deserve another chance, handmade things carry part of their maker, and forgotten treasures still have stories to tell.
We don’t have everything figured out. We’re building this together, doing what we can, and finding a little magic along the way.
