Vintage Ralmac “Smoothie” Instant Home Mixer of “Satinsmooth” Ice Cream, dating to approximately the 1940s and made by the Ralmac Corporation of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This unusual heavy aluminum kitchen gadget has a fantastic Art Deco rocket or bullet-shaped design. It was originally designed to mix and freeze ice cream using a gas cartridge. Today, it would make a terrific display piece for a vintage kitchen, soda-fountain collection, ice-cream collection, or collection of unusual mid-century kitchen gadgets.

• Removable upper components shown in the photographs
• Separate attachment shown in the photographs
• Original illustrated cardboard box
Only the items clearly shown in the photographs are included. Instructions, recipe sheets, and gas cartridges are not included. We cannot confirm that every component originally supplied with the mixer is present.
CONDITION:
This vintage mixer has not been tested. It is being sold as a collectible or display piece rather than for food preparation.
The aluminum shows scratches, scuffs, spotting, discoloration, and other wear consistent with its age. The illustrated label has wear and areas of surface loss.
The original cardboard box has considerable age and storage wear, including scratches, peeling and missing surface paper, softened edges and corners, tape, staining, and other damage. Please use the photographs as an important part of the condition description.
